I’m sure you’ve tried it – finding a better ways of making to-do lists, time management ideas, and what new diet to do. If you’re like me, most of those didn’t work and certainly didn’t last! Knowing HOW to do something doesn’t mean you will do it!
In the past year I’ve come across a completely different approach - it’s about how you feel – your current emotional energy. You have probably experienced a time that you feel discouraged, and noticed that basically nothing you do will help – if you have the energy to do anything at all!
However, if you feel better - feel now how you’ll feel then (when you reach your goal) - then you get inspired, motivated, and a flood of ideas of how to reach your goal. If you do that often enough, reaching for your goals can be enjoyable and fun!

- Sedona Method or the Release Technique.
- Jamie Smart’s Art of Being/Living the Life You Desire.
- Law of Attraction/Deliberate Creation/Art of Allowing as taught by Abraham-Hicks or Pray Rain Journaling from Jeannette Maw.
Something I’ve just discovered – it skips feeling good, instead, it focuses on getting your conscious and unconscious to work together, so your unconscious stops sabotaging you. It seems so powerful it almost scares me – be careful what you wish for, because I’m pretty sure you’ll get it exactly as you ask for it! You can even get a free intro to the book. Also, in general, relaxing both physically and mentally is great:
- Doing yoga for relaxation- the Yoga in Bed dvd is pretty good
- Doing meditation – just relaxing, breathing, and paying attention to your thought and emotions.
- Meditation for 30 minutes listening to Brainwave audio is even better, this program has helped me immensely: BrainEvolution.
- I also use another Brainwave Entrainment program- delta to help sleep, low theta’s for rejuvenation, mid theta for creativity.. all included in LifeFlow.
- For a quick deep rest and relaxation, I love this audio from Paul Scheele: 10 Minute Supercharger – Paraliminal CD.
